Ingrid Richter is a commercial real estate broker and project management professional with 30+ years of multi-faceted business experience in real estate development and strategic business initiatives. Ms. Richter holds an employing broker real estate license in Colorado, specializing in property management, commercial brokerage, entitlements, and real estate development.

Since joining Olive Real Estate Group in 2018, Ms. Richter is focused on property management, tenant representation leasing and acquisition, investing in income-producing properties, and developing hospitality and mixed-use real estate projects. Ms. Richter also provides consulting services to clients across various industries. Over the past 20+ years, Ms. Richter has secured governmental approvals for over 20 residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects and has participated in raising over $175,000,000 in private capital to finance the acquisition and development of 30+ development projects.

A 35+ year resident of Colorado Springs, Ms. Richter has been a paralegal/law firm administrator, human resources director, business consultant, small business owner, community advocate, and elected official. She has held various positions to include Chief Strategy Officer & Economic Development Director for the O’Neil Group Company, Executive Director of Catalyst Campus (aerospace and defense), President/Employing Broker of Paramount Group (commercial brokerage and property management), Real Estate Services Manager for the City of Colorado Springs/Colorado Springs Utilities, Development Manager for Oakwood Homes, Chief Operations Officer for Zephyr Development, Human Resources Director for Optika (software), and Human Resources Analyst for the City of Colorado Springs.

Ms. Richter’s passion for community involvement is demonstrated through decades of board service. She currently serves as a Board Member of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce/Economic Development Corporation, and previously served as Board Chair of the Downtown Development Authority, and Member of the Trails and Open Space (TOPS) Working Committee. In addition, she has volunteered with various organizations to include the Boys & Girls Club, Partners in Housing and Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center. In 2016, Ingrid was awarded Business Leader of the Year by the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Richter was elected in 2010 and served one term on City of Manitou Springs City Council.

Ms. Richter received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in public policy and administration from the University of Colorado. She is an avid hiker, mountain biker and yogi. She enjoys spending time with her husband, four adult children and grandson.
