Since joining Olive in 2018, Ingrid has focused on leasing and investing in income-producing office and industrial properties, as well as obtaining Urban Renewal Authority approvals and financing for a dual-branded Marriott hotel located within the downtown Colorado Springs’ Opportunity Zone. She currently serves the Downtown Development Authority Board Chair (a voter-approved financing authority supporting real estate and economic development projects in downtown Colorado Springs).

 

Ingrid Richter became a commercial broker in 2008 after nearly ten years working in the real estate development industry. Since the inception of her career, she has secured governmental approvals for over 15 mixed-use real estate development projects totaling nearly 4,000 acres with over 10,000 dwelling units and 500,000+ SF of commercial office/retail space.  Over the past 20 years, Ingrid has participated in raising over $100,000,000 in private capital to finance the acquisition of over 20 residential and commercial properties.

 

Immediately prior to joining Olive, Ms. Richter served as Chief Strategy Officer for The O’Neil Group Company, where she simultaneously served as Executive Director of Catalyst Campus (an aerospace and defense technology campus) and Employing Broker for Paramount Group (a commercial brokerage and property management firm). In 2011, Ms. Richter joined the City of Colorado Springs as Real Estate Services Manager, overseeing the acquisition of over 500+ parcels for the Colorado Springs Utilities Southern Delivery System project and numerous acquisitions for the City of Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation Department and Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority.  Previous positions include Development Manager for Oakwood Homes and Chief Operations Officer of Zephyr Development.

 

Ms. Richter is a seasoned professional proficient in balancing the strategic, tactical and operational needs of her clients.  Ingrid has extensive experience in negotiating contracts, programs, and projects, as well as business and economic development initiatives.  She has served as both a public servant and elected official and is skilled at analyzing legal and policy issues, as well as managing operations, employees & multi-disciplinary teams.

 

In 2016, Ingrid was awarded the Southern Colorado Business Leader of the Year by the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.  Ms. Richter was elected to the City Council for the City of Manitou Springs in 2010 where she served one term.  Ms. Richter received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Colorado.
